Research and innovation
Idox is extremely active in the knowledge transfer, innovation and research support arena having worked with Enterprise Ireland, East Midlands Development Agency, European Commission, Warwick University and the Irish Universities Association.
A central feature of many of our projects is helping to connect potential innovators with the expertise, support and tools needed to develop and commercialise their ideas, working with agencies from local through to European level. We have also designed and developed applications to support policy making, enabling decision makers to access relevant research expertise. We work with a number of universities and development agencies to share academic output with wider audiences building web platforms that integrate with research support systems and aggregate information about research projects, publications and activities disseminating from the knowledge base.
We believe our unique blend of experience as developers and publishers is fundamental to the successful delivery of these projects as we not only understand the technical challenges of how to build the platform, but also how to extract the information from the knowledge base and render it online in a meaningful way for people to engage and interact with.
We have considerable experience in the development of online portals to support the European Frameworks Programme for research and development, working with all levels of Government to design platforms that helps engage users with the programme and tools to support application management.
